Bạc Liêu Provincial People's Committee Chairman, Mr. Phạm Văn Thiều, emphasized that the province prioritizes selective investment attraction, focusing on large-scale projects and financially strong enterprises. At the same time, medium and small-scale projects that align with local potential will also be facilitated.

He assured that the provincial government will accompany businesses to create a favorable investment environment under the principles of "no unofficial costs" and "easy matters for businesses, difficult matters will be handled by the government".

Strengthening Transport Infrastructure

To create favorable conditions for investors, Bạc Liêu has proposed and secured approval for several major transportation infrastructure projects, including:

  • Expansion of National Highway 1A (Sóc Trăng - Cà Mau section)
  • Development of a coastal road connecting to Cần Thơ, funded by ODA (2025-2030)
  • Investment in Trần Đề deep-water port
  • Construction of the Kiên Giang - Rạch Giá - Hà Tiên - Bạc Liêu expressway

During the meeting, many businesses expressed strong interest and provided feedback to help improve the province's investment attraction policies.
