Daily real estate briefing: High-end supply dominates as the southern market prepares for more new homes

The real estate market recorded several notable developments in major urban areas and regions benefiting from expanding infrastructure. In Ho Chi Minh City, Asian brands, particularly in food and fashion, continued to expand, helping maintain stable occupancy rates for retail spaces. In the housing segment, high-end apartments accounted for more than 73% of commercial housing supply during the first nine months of the year, while affordable apartments disappeared entirely from the market. The overall market is expected to receive around 30,300 new housing products in the fourth quarter, mainly concentrated in the southern region. Serviced apartments also remained attractive as the number of international visitors and experts increased, with occupancy rates reaching up to 85%.
